30th Birthday Request....

'Sup, Scribosphere? So, I turn 30 in a few days... Saturday to be precise*. And here's what I'd like for my birthday from all of you fine people: I'd like to wake up, at 30, to a Lib Dem government. So if everyone could just do that for me (you can still get one, they're in the shops till tomorrow, I checked), that'd be great.

Now, I know that's a big ask. But it is my thirtieth. I promise I won't ask for anything again till my fortieth, at which point you can get me a flying car, or a monkey-thought translator, or a rat-bird**.

* Creeping, creeping dread.
** I may have watched Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs this eveing. Very funny. Very weird.

Ah, that's so sweet!

*pats Oli on head*

Shame to think you'll be old and cynical like me one day. I'd go for the flying car or take a chance on the rat-bird any day of the week.

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Sorry Oli,
I just couldn't pull it out of the bag for you last night.
Oh well, maybe you'll get that Scalextric you've always wanted.
Happy Birthday!

I thought so! Had a bit of a bash a couple of weeks back (halfway between mine and my still-anonymous-on-this-blog wife's birthdays) so am planning to do a bit of site seeing, playing with whatever new toys I get, and then watching Doctor Who. Nice.
